Electric water pump w/ LHT JRSC
OK wanted to know what people are running to control their electric water pump for the LHT intercooled JRSC. I am wondering if something like this Moroso thermostatic water pump switch would be ideal.Moroso Thermostatic Water Pump Switches 63760 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
I've seen people say that running the electric pump off a switch (on) all the time will kill it quickly, so would this be more of an ideal setup(on above 160°F and off below 140°F)? Also would you basically be able to get a bung and have LHT weld it onto the intercooler so then you could install it on the intercooler and get direct coolant temps so the pump would know when to turn on and off?

The pump on my lightning is on anytime the motor is running. I just replaced the original pump 2 years ago so it was 13 years old and 78000 miles of continuous use.
