Default 2003 civic ex coupe. 25 or 15mm front sway bar?

So I picked up a 2003 civic ex coupe. About a month ago. Getting ready to get into the suspension. I've been reading mixed post. I know the 2001 em2 has a 25 mm front sway bar and the 2005 has a 15 mm. I think 2003 may have been a transition year. Does it have the 25 or 15 mm front sway bar?

01-02 have the 25mm, and 03-05 have the 15.9mm. But, it will depend on your car's manufacture date.

Honestly, I do not know.

However, 25mm is almost identical to 1 inch in diameter. If you have the anti-sway bar already, you can take a tape measure to it.

I didnt get a chance to measure it today. But I did the manufacture date and it said 08/03 so Im assuming its the 15mm.

Since I have a 15mm should I upgrade the front as well as the rear. I was thinking of going up to a 19mm off the rsx. This is a daily driver I just want it to be alittle tighter by reducing body roll.

You definitely need to upgrade the rear anti-sway, if you're going to the 25mm front.

If I just stuck with the stock 15mm front. Would I get oversteer with thr 19mm or 21mm rsx rear bar? I wish I knew the stock spring rates on the em2.

300 lb/in rear
125 lb/in front

Honestly, with how soft the stock springs are, it's going to be difficult to feel a huge difference with the change of the anti-sways.

If you plan on sticking with the 15mm front, I'd say the 19mm rear would be best suited for the job.

Wow I didnt know it was that big of a difference. Im coming from driving a ej8 were spring rates were plentiful. I think ill definitely do the 19mm for now or should I get the 21mm off the type s?

This is my daily for the next couple years (less then 100k on it) so im not trying to jump into coilovers or anything right away. I just want to keep up with the maintenance and make it alittle bit better on the street.

The 21 is going to make it more prone to oversteer by comparison, but not exceedingly so. I guess it depends on your driving style preferences.

As for spring options, there are several for the chassis since it shares components with the DC5's and EP3's.
