Default SENSOR HELP!!!

So i have a 95 prelude bb1 h22a1. And it was running fine but then started bogging but no cels. I was looking under the hood at the tps but then followed the wire and one wire is disconnected from what looks to be a sensor on the area around where the lower radiator hose connects to... Could this be the cause of my bad idle? and there is no pigtail connector on one end. But the Female end near the lower radiator hose hook-up is yellow.... what is this?!?! please help

That is engine coolant temperature Switch A. It is a fan switch to trigger both cooling fans if the coolant temperature is above 199 degrees F or above (for Si, S, 4WS) or 203 degrees F or above (for VTEC or SR-V) with the engine running.
