The transmission just went on my 2003 Odyssey (244k) miles and I am thinking about buying a new Odyssey. Several dealers have recommended purchasing an extended warranty. One offered me 7 yr 60,000 bumper to bumper for an extra $33 a month over 5 years. Normally I don't buy extended warranties. The reason I am buying a Honda is because I expect it to last. I know the cars are very advanced today though, and it is very expensive to repair anything that goes wrong. I guess I am just asking for opinions and advise from people and experts who own Honda's.
