94 Accord LX throttle cable sticking
I have a 94 Accord LX and I'm having issues with the throttle cable sticking. I've tried cleaning it and lubrication neither of which has fixed the issue. For example; when I stop at a light/stop sign or park the rpm's do not drop back to normal idle unless I lift up on the gas pedal. Suggestions?
Is it the cable or the butterfly inside the TB sticking? I always say that a good cleaning of the TB never hurts anything and should be done every now and then.
I use an old tooth brush. Also be sure to get both sides and edges of the butterfly, then the area where it "seats" inside the TB.
