Stereo problem
I have a 1997 honda accord some dumb *** didn't know what he was doing and said he did and cut my stero wires to install a new cd player in my car well he didn't disconnect the battery so I had to get somebody else who knew what they was doing to put in a new connector piece we put in the original stero and nothing so I had my dad who is a mechanic check it out the fuses were good and there's juice going through all wires the problem is still not working anyone know what the problem could be and no its not the wiring everything is connected properly
Naw everything works fine except for the clock is dim and this silver switch that use to activate my alarm from inside my car don't work anymore but other than that everything is working 100 percent
You may have to back trace the wiring. If the wires were cut with the battery connected the memory circuit would be hot, this would have back fed into the other circuits. This may account for the dim clock lighting. Do your dash light dim normally via the dimmer?
Check the wiring to your alarm. If it is not working, there may be crossed or still damaged wires.
