Hey guys, whats goin on? Im new to this forum. Anyways, let me recap my driving for the day. I turned on (remote start) the car at around 1:30 PM after its been sitting since about 2:15 AM this morning. I was driving about 5 minutes later and I drove about 15 mins to my school. After parking, it sits from about 1:50 PM to about 8:45 PM. Turn it on just fine, idling for about 2-3 mins before I start driving. I go home (about 15 mins again) and park in front of my house. I realized that I should have parked better when I got out the vehicle. I get back in to start her up and the engine doesnt turn whatsoever. Almost complete silence except for a little sound I hear on the passenger side. I cant even explain the sound. The sound starts out faint and low and only gets lower. The sound lasts for no more than 2 seconds. I turned the key a few times to try to pinpoint the sound and where it was coming from. Keep in mind that all the electronics still work when I turn the key into the on position "I". Radio, dome light, courtesy light, car adapter lights up. Then when I turn it to "II", all those electronics turn off. The domelight and courtesy lights quickly flicker once. I noticed my courtesy light was veryy very dim. Anyway make sure the car is in Neutral. make sure fuel pump is working.

Car battery may have a low charge and may need replacement. Get the battery tested, many auto parts shops will test for free.

 

And check and clean the battery connections - all ends of both cables.

 

Thanks to all. Figured out it was just my negative battery cable wasnt secure. It always looked pretty firm but hey, things happen lol
