Hey I'm new to the site and I'm having issues with my 93ex 5speed. All my lights work except the dash and parking lights. Every time I put a fuse in it pops as soon as I turn the lights on. I gutted the inside to trace the wires but not luck so far any ideas?

 

As you know there is a short somewhere. Pull the parking bulbs, pull the dash dimmer switch.....put a fuse in and turn the light on, check fuse......good.

Well decide where to go next.....plug in dimmer and try again - what does the fuse do?

 

I pulled the lights and there are bare wires touching the frame. Going to fix it and see what happens. Thanks for the tip

 

Yea, that is usually not a good thing. Let us know how it turns out.

 

Fixed the short and now everything works. Just need to replace some bulbs
