BRAKE Warning Light And Beeping HELP!!
I consider myself quite a good experienced technician but I'm stumped on this one! My wifes 2008 Civic Hybrid has 120,000 miles all brakes/rotors and fluid flushed/changed at 95,00 miles. Brakes work wonderful fluid level is perfect but when you now drive it the brake warning light comes on along with a beep (beeps only when your moving). No other symptoms have I found. I pulled all wheels off and checked pads, shoes and no leaking. Brake fluid as I said is full, I bled all brake cylinders with no bubbles and clean Honda brake fluid.
Any suggestions what I should look at next?? I can't seem to locate an issue and I don't get a "brake system" light either just the red "Brakes" light and a beep every time I push on the pedal. PLEASE HELP as I'm trying to avoid going to the Dealerships!!

Being that it is a hybrid and the light only comes on when the brake pedal is used. I've seen this a few times. It's usually related to the high pressure accumulator being defective. Small black globe looking thing mounted towards the firewall on the passenger side of the engine bay. It's filled with a high pressure Gas. These usually lose pressure and cause this issue. No codes will store. And there is no diagnostic procedure you can go through. It's basically, if you have this symptom replace this parT.
I have this same issue did you figure it out? Fluid is good and looking elsewhere now. Pads & rotors are good. Parking brace releases and drives fine....
