I just got a replacement 68mm Professional product TB. Thing is my old Professional product TB didnt have FITV ports? And the new one has, that means it wont line up with my euro r intake. Will suck in falls air.. What should I do here? Can I block off the ports in the TB ? Thinking with some strong loctite, or is that silly doing that.?
Right one is old tb, left is new.
What do you think? I got the blockoff plate for the fitv though. But this will suck in falls air if I install it
Seems like they sent you the wrong one. All the ones I have seen dont come with the fast idle ports just like your old one. What is wrong with your old one?
Yea its weird. The problem with the old one, its hard to explain, ill try.. You see the "pin" connected to where the tps is going through the 68mm diameter where the round plate is boltet on to. In the edged around the pin on the round plate is some kind of wear, if i take a light I can see light through even though its closed.. Its hard to explain. But figured id buy a new one instead.
But maybe I can swap out the plates and make it work thar way :-)
A lot of H guys use Professional Products TB because they are OEM castings. Great for swaps with less TPS space on firewall. Clears like OEM. Wont stick out hugely.
Reason yours wont work is because everyone with H22s get B series Integra Type R throttle bodies in whatever size you want. Everything is the same on it but has the FITV. I have been using them on H's since 2008
