Default New exhaust question

Hey guys I'm buying me a Yonaka catback exhaust this week and was wondering... the exhaust piping is 2.5" and the high flow cat I want is 2.25" or something like that. Will this be ok to run? Thanks in advance. Civicboy

It won't make much of a difference other than adapting the size. Though if you have a N/A single cam, 2.5" is overkill...

What do you mean overkill? I want an exhaust and not stock. I have a header and CAI. I doubt I will lose much power and torque.

It's a DC header so I'm sure it's at least 2.0"

I just bought the exhaust and the description says 50mm so I'm pretty sure that is 2.0", same as my header. Now the only thing is I just bought my test pipe and its 2.25". Couldn't find a 2.0", Will this be ok? Just use adapters right?

The smallest diameter exhaust will be the bottleneck. If you have a 2 inch header nothing after bigger than that will make any difference; Same thing with the 2.25 inch cat.
