Default Hardrace bushings

OK, I am in the process of replacing my wheel studs and I noticed my front LCA and RTA bushings are shot. So, I need to replace them so I was thinking of just doing all of them with Hardrace Bushings. Has anybody used these before on there ITR and what are your thoughts. Also I have done some research just want some recent reviews. Thanks

Installed them on my other itr and loved it. Wouldn't hesitate to do it on my current R when they become worn.

I went OEM for the bushings you mentioned. My friend went all Hardrace then decided to go all OEM also.

How was the ride compared to the stock bushings? Also did you have problems with the install? Was reading that there were fitmeant issues with some of the bushings

Not an ITR, but I installed Hardrace Hardened Rubber RTA bushings when I did my rear disc swap, clocked them appropriately for my amount of drop, and it was great but a little stiff for my liking (read...SoCal roads SUCK!!!). When I did my 5 Lug swap i did the hardrace spherical bearings (Pillowball bushings), and LOVE them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hardrace hardened rubber, but make sure they're clocked.

I am currently using the hardrace front sway bar endlinks, the metal seems to show more surface rust, but outside of that no issues with them.

I did buy the hardrace front LCAs with the bushings pressed in, but ended up swapping back my old arms with fresh OEM bushings, did notice they felt slightly stiffer, but felt I was hearing weird noises, etc (noises ended up being a combination of many things not the LCAs).

I traded them to a friend who will put 15k or more miles a year on his integra so I'll find out from him how they hold up in extended use.

I'm replacing all bushings on my car right now as well. OEM bushings FTW!

There is no OEM bushing "Kit" for sale by Honda/ Acura. Most of them are pretty inexpensive, and they are very easy to look up online. Compliance bushings for the front are probably the most expensive, and they're less than $100 each. Get on Delray Acura's website and look up your car by year and model. Then click on the link to their online picture parts catalog. Great customer service and fairly fast shipping. Below is a link for the catalog for a 2001 ITR. You'll have to pick out the bushings you want on several different diagrams, but they are all available with the exception of the rear trailing arm bushings. Use part number 52385-SR3-003 from HONDA if you are planning on replacing them. If you are replacing the rear LCA bushings you will need to buy the whole arm, but they're only about $60 each. Good luck.

He replaced the Hardrace because he didn't like how it felt vs OEM.

I usually just call Chase in the ITR forum and have him look up all the part numbers. Then I just pay him whatever he asks. I am sure he will pop up sooner or later in the thread.

Was it a raugh ride or did it change the handeling? My ITR is not my DD. I just bring it out on the weekends once and awhile and I do few track days a year.

My old bushings were pretty toast so it isn't a good comparison. Did a full bushing kit and it wasn't rough or too stiff at all, the thought never even crossed my mind. Only thing I had problems with was with the rear sway bar end links making noises and switched to oem.

I had a shop do all the bushings besides the sway bars. They didn't have any trouble.

I suspect most peoples issues with them coming from not torquing the bolts with the car on the ground/pre loaded. They will make noise if they aren't installed properly.

So my question is are the Hardrace Bushings worth it? Will I see any improvement in handling? Or should i just stick with OEM or an OEM replacement bushing like MOOG?

You will see a difference but the difference may or may not be to your liking. As some stated it was too stiff. But then again they are reinforced bushings so that should be GIVEN.

Well, the car isn't my DD so that really doesn't matter that much to me. I have it just to go out and have some fun in.
