Default 96 JDM ITR Suspension

I was wondering if the 96 JDM ITR suspension is the same as any of the USDM Type R? I know the 96 JDM ITR was kind of a different car with some different parts than most models. Thanks.

I know its a older post, but I may as well answer it.
1st off, I have a 96 JDM ITR so I know first hand.
The only difference other then spring rates and so on is the rear lower control arms are different. Also the way they balanced the suspension for the JDM models was they had a 160lbs man in the driver (right) seat while on the scales.
I know you can switch out the lower control arms if you got JDM suspension.
