any advice on this motor please
sorry idk if someone posted this before, but any advice on this would be really appreciated. i just did a motor swap in my ef, but the engine keeps dying on me. its a d15b1. im pretty sure we put everything back together good, but it has trouble starting on its own, and in order for it to start good i keep having to pour gas in the carburator. once it starts it idles good, but when i try to run it it always dies out. it would run smooth and then all of a sudden die or have trouble to keep going. sometimes everytime i would shift to second it dies again. and even to roll start it wouldn't start at all, then sometimes it does. or even when i do put gas in the carburator it still doesnt start sometimes. a few times it would start right up and run perfect. the fuel pump works though and I can hear it working fine. but i keep havint to put gas in the carburator to make it start easily and its always dying out. could this be a problem with the fuel pump? that's the only thing i could assume. i don't want to have to change it and it's not actually the problem. could this be something else? or even the motor itself? the other car that was using this motor had the same kind of problem too. unless both cars had poor fuel pumps. both are pretty old. thanks
