Hatchback Lid/Door

Is there any way to align the hatchback lid? Mine closes but leaves probably about a 1/4 in gap all the way around. I've tried searching all different kinds of hatchback related threads but to no avail....

btw this is for a 96, if that helps.

Grab an exploded diagram and get to inspecting your hatch.
Sounds like you may be missing a seal / weather stripping.

It looks like I have everything, is there a way you can adjust the locking mechanism on the hatch maybe?
