My 2002 honda civic ex won't start.

Based on AAA check today:
Battery 2.5 years old (good)
alternator 1-2 years old (good)
starter crank (good)

when I turn the key, the engine turns over but won't start. AAA came out and gave me a jump start and then I was able to drive. Once I turned the car off, it wouldn't start again.

Three days ago I had my drive and passenger air bags replaced by honda due to a recall. That same day, I left my interior light on for 4 hours and that's when the turnover noise started.

Batteries usually last 3-5 years so, you may be getting near the end of the service life for it.

If it starts and drives fine with a jump, then it's 99% the battery.

How far did you go? May not have been far enough for alternator to charge it assuming it's working well enough to do so - it could be on the edge and not charging it but giving you enough to drive (the other 1%).
