Default no crank no start

I have a no crank no start problem on my 93 honda accord. The only way i get it to start is to put alligator clips from the starter wire on the starter to the positive battery post. How would I test the ignition switch? what else could it be neutral saftey switch?

If you jumper the starter directly and it starts its likely the ignition switch is bad.

Couple things...auto or 5 speed? If auto neutral safety switch. But they rarely go out. 5 speed check the clutch switch. Most likely is ignition switch.
