Pacific Northwest ITR Meet
Haven't had a PNW ITR meet in awhile. Wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a meet and drive through one of our scenic roads around here? Otherwise I'm doing a track day with ProFormance at the Ridge in May. Post, PM, or you can hit me up on FB bentaylor.redstartracing
Im shooting for having my car back together sometime between July and September. Count me in anytime after that! I know a handful of local guys with R's that would be down as well. I'll let them know you're trying to set something up. If I miss this one I'll catch you next time.

Shoot me details on dates/locations. I am in NorCal but I travel to Portland and Seattle monthly. I could try to schedule a work trip overlapping with a meet.
What good driving roads are there in Washington state?
I know in Vancouver there is the Duffy lake loop. Approx 800km or 500ish miles. Might be a little too intense to pack it all in 1 day if your heading from washington.
Track day would be nice , but cruise would probrably draw a bigger turn out.

Good response guys! So I guess it really depends on the locale of everyone who wants to attend on where to go/meet. The N. Cascades is a really good drive but might be too far for the PDX peeps. Also, what month works best? I'm thinking July - August?

Hwy 20 is by far the best drive around here!!!! Been here all my life!

Super curvy windy roads with nice open straightaways fresh cool mountain air! beautiful views of mountains and not many people around. Sound nice? Where are all these WA itr owners at? I'm trying to meet up man been sitting on my car trying to keep her safe, but she wants to make friends now haha
I didn't realize and forgot to mention, well Hwy20 is perfect other than one tiny little thing there's a pretty steep cliff on one side with some rocks, that are loose, and they definitly can be on the road and or on our cars :/ I haven't been there in a while & forgot this detail, my dad had one the size of a softball skim off his hood graze his windshield barley missed ending up in his lap. It would probably be okay, but man the thought of a hurt R is sad and if recomended that road and someone's R got hurt I'd never be the same. Haha

I'll look around for good drives maybe just going east from seattle is the answer? Like through Belleuve via I 90? I 90 is the free Hwy over lake Washington, 520 has a toll like $7 each way lmao! I 90 would take us through the super nice lake Samamish area, we could stop at the lake or keep going. I'm just throwing ideas out.

Another option further south would be to meet in the Puyallup/Graham area and take Highway 7 through Eatonville along the lakes and reservoirs that are dammed upstream of the Cowlitz river through Morton to Highway 12 which cuts back to I5. It is another scenic, long, and winding drive that is not generally busy or congested. It's basically driving both of the common routes to Mt. Rainier without actually driving up to the mountain from Elbe. Probably about a 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Puyallup back to I5 with a few places to stop along the way. Check it out on maps, route from Puyallup to Morton, and from Morton to Olympia to get an idea.
The only negative I can think of is that if Mt. Rainier were to blow its top it would take out every ITR in the northwest in one shot..
lol.

I would be coming from Tacoma as well. HWY 20 sounds great but so does around Ranier. Royal city do you ever go over to chambers bay water works facility on saturday afternoons. There is usually people over there every other saturday. Its across from the cemetery just around the corner from the entrance to chambers bay golf course. I have never taken my car but would if there were other fellow R owners.
