Picked up this motor not to long ago and its already torn apart ready to rebuilt.
Got a D15B7 in my 93 civic hatch and looking to swap and bar a motor.
In the pics below there is a D15B with a PO8 head and there is also a PM3-13 head and a SOHC ZC block out of the pic.
I was looking up the numbers on the blocks and the zc came out of a crx-si so dont think that will pass bar but figured i would throw it in there for opinions.
And couldnt match the numbers on the D15B block.
The motor came in with various other engines on a crate so no history there.
I got everything for the head such as valves, springs, retainers, along with misc nuts and bolts.
Was looking into getting new valves for the PO8 head which is the same as the Z6.
My main concern would be smog for BAR.
Pistons are also an issue as i cannot seem to find what pistons were stock for the block.
Ordered up a set of D16Y8 rods which should be the same length as stock.
