Default 96 del Sol si alarm question

I have a 96 del Sol si and I want to put an alarm system in it. I know that some models came with it (don't know if it was an option or what). But I was wondering if I can buy the alarm system from the dealership and plug it in. Or will I have to wire it myself or add stuff Etc.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks

If still available yes you can do it. Be sure to make them print out a instruction sheet.

After almost 20 years, a Honda accessory security system may not be available anymore.

Ive researched it and found that they are available on from a reputable website (bkhondaparts.com). Part number 08E51-SV4-100F.
Is there anything in addition to that unit that i would need?

Thanks, Kyle

Looks like that is just the alarm unit with nothing else and the price is to low for a complete system.

You also need the security attachment kit (which includes the wire harness, relays, etc.). That part has been discontinued.

Would it be possible to scavenge it from a yard? Or is it a difficult harness to pull?
Thanks, Kyle
