The wheelhouse upper members on my Civic DX hatch are rusted through. I need to know this :

1. Can I remove them myself (trying to save money) with a spot weld cutter, chisel, angle grinder, etc. (I did my radiator support)?

2. Can I drive without them on the car to get to an auto body shop and have new ones welded on or will any bump make something bend or crack?

3.Do you know of a online shop where I could get a good deal on these?
