1997 Honda Del Sol VTEC 20,xxx miles MINT CONDITION
Let me just preface with some words of warning:
Anyone who low ***** will be ignored.
Anyone who mentions Kelly Blue Book or any similar appraisal service will be ignored.
Anyone who asks me to piece out something from the car will be ignored.
Any dreamers, tire kickers, time wasters, bullshitters, and wannabe hustlers. Don't even bother.
Out-of-state buyers will need to arrange travel to view the car and purchase in person and then deal with transporting the car yourself. I will not take on this responsibility. I can however ensure your confidence in the car for sale if you have any concerns before travelling.
A cashiers check, that will be deposited in your presence before signing the car over, is the only method of payment I will accept.
I am not in a rush to sell this car. I am aware that a car like this commands a very specific buyer and I am willing to wait for that person. The simple fact that you can probably count on one hand the amount of cars of this specific model, condition and mileage in the country is denotative of why I couldn't care less about a shitty offer.

This car was my parents car. They enjoyed it gingerly and sparingly as a weekend cruiser car since special ordering it new from the dealership in 1997. The majority of it's life has been spent inside an enclosed garage and under a car cover. The car functions as you would expect an adult driven, one owner, low mileage car to.

Modifications:
The seats were fitted with black sheep skin seat covers. Now these aren't your rinky-dink Autozone cover-up-your-bullshit-seat-covers. These were custom made expensive genuine sheepskin covers and you can feel it. If these covers aren't your style I verified the condition of the factory black/black seats and pictured it below. The covers left a greyish residue on the seats that can be cleaned off, which I also verified. I personally like them so I will leave it up to the buyer whether or not they want them removed.
The original 14" 5-spoke alloy wheels were replaced with some 15" Americas Tire Co wheels and 195/55 Yokohama tires. The original wheels and tires are also included.
Flaws:
I did my best to picture the flaws that the car has. Unfortunately it managed to acquire a few minor dings, all of which can be fixed via paintless dent repair. I tried to picture them as best as possible.
The typical Del Sol problem of the factory adhesive failing on the door panel arm wrests has also occurred in this car.
One of the studs holding on the spark plug cover has been broken off.

I would recommend investing the money to fix the minor flaws that this car has, if you wanna get top dollar for it, but even then $11k is still pushing it.

Next time pm then. You are supposed to be a grown man(im assuming since youve been on here since 02) no need for the parade raining and dreamer comments. I expect that from the 16 year old facebook kids. I wasnt trying to over price my product it was an honest mistake and I changed my price after I verified your claim. Gl with your $10000 del slow. I personally think the price is cheap. Considering there were only 5k del sols produced in 1997, and only a very small percentage were the VTEC models. Like probably 500 or less. If a 1997 ITR sold for $43,000 last week with 10k miles, then I don't think this car for 11k is a bad price.

"Hate to rain on your parade" is a neutral figure of speech. I wasn't trying to rustle any jimmies there. I only used it to preface the fact that you stated the price of the conversion from a retailer was nearly double that. I also simultaneously bumped your thread. I sincerely hope your jab at me having a "rolled cluster" was your attempt at trying to throw it back in my face. If you actually meant that, you should probably question your own maturity.

If I was in the market for a Del Sol this would be a winner
Bump for a museum piece - I had one similar that I paid about 8k for back in 06 when they were a little easier to get your hands on --- these days something like this is a unicorn and the price is more than fair for someone who can appreciate the unmolested goodness.
This is far more than just the sum of its parts --- love the factory paint condition - better than my 08 NHBP FA5 lol

And my del sol has about 25k original miles, door panels are sagging worse then that lol at the hater ^
