smells like gas
1991 Honda accord 2.2 se smells like gas while driving at speed and smell gets stronger based on throttle. Confirmed when I took my newly purchased accord off Craig's list On the highway for the first time. what is it? Injectors or more likely the lines near the canister?
Check all your fuel line connections - look for loose banjo bolts, loose fittings at the filter, anywhere fuel might be leaking out.
Start up your car and watch it idle - do you see any fuel coming out? What about when you open the throttle?
It's obviously leaking from somewhere near your cabin-air-intake and I suspect it's near the fuel filter, which is on the firewall, passenger side.
I recently replaced the filter in my '93 and thought I had it tight but it was still leaking a bit. I then took a wrench and put it on the filter itself while I tightened the bolt (as opposed to just trying to tighten the bolt while it twisted within the clamp)- that was it - it just wasn't tight enough...no more fuel leakage.
