Default Oil light on!

My 94 accord lx 4 door was put back together after an accident and ran fine for a few weeks. I then did an oil change accidentally using a very thin oil. Drove home from work where I did the oil change not thinking I had used such a thin oil. By the way it was full synthetic 0w10 or something with a zero. I found out the next day but didn't have time to change out the oil so I went back home. Just as I got home I started to hear loud noise like a really loud ticking noise and knocking noise. The oil light came on as the noise got louder. Then I turned off the engine and since then have only turned it on to hear the engine but it sounds bad. my valves have always had a light ticking noise in the mid rpms. I then did oil change and added 10w30. What could be wrong? Did I screw up the engine using that oil?

Oil light means low oil pressure. If you changed back to 5/30 and used good quality oil filter(not fram) and lights still on. That's a problem. Especially accompanied by the noise. Sounds like that oil didn't have enough viscosity to create a proper oil wedge in your bearings. They got damaged, and that caused the noise and lack of pressure.

But you can remove the sensor in the back of the head and install a manual gauge, that'll trll you the truestory.

If you bearings are bad enough to need replacing, then the crankshaft will also need some work, so no.

Drop the pan and take a rod cap off and a main cap off, remember they have to go back the same as they came off and torqued properly.
