why do my headlights keep going out ... the first time it went out, i was driving on the freeway. and i changed the fuse.. about a week and a half ago. last night when i tried to go somewhere, it just would not come on, my side lights come on but not my main lights.. bulbs are pretty much brand new.... could it be the fuse again or is this something eles?

 

A lot of times the connector gets corroded. rockauto carries connectors for this very reason.

Just look at your connector and see if it appears corroded or even burned. It could even be you're using the wrong rated bulb.

 

is corroed organe guk? thats on my driver side connector and passager looks fairly new
