My 2000 civic si has been misfiring for like the first 30 seconds of me driving and then it goes away. i have checked the distributor, ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, changed out my valve cover gasket, ran fuel injector cleaner through, and am checking my fuel pump today. any ideas of what be causing this?

 

So you are driving a 1976 volkswagon micro bus?

Okay so it has a knock sensor I believe.

First I would check the mechanical timing to be sure you didn't skip a tooth. Then I would check ignition timing. After that, I would check spark plugs and the wires.
