Going to change b18b1 valve cover gasket and was just wondering, are ebay gaskets okay to use?

 

ebay is not a brand... what brand is it? I've bought oem Honda parts off "ebay" most likely yes it's a straight forward gasket and the equivalent to what part stores sell.

I assume some of that $42 shipping is item cost, looks like ppl still think ebay doesn't charge final value fee on shipping lolz, that should be fine to use tho. no worse then what your local AA/AZ will sell you.

 

huh? it's $11.23, free shipping. That's why i'm wondering if it's good or not.

 

i'm on the Canadian site so it showed 42 shipping. Honestly for $11 I would pass look for just the gasket for that price it's like $20 from Honda tho if you just want the gasket and want it to last for another 10 years. granted you'll probs sell the car before then but it's an option.

 

damn, they were $14.xx two years ago when i got them.
been on mine 30,000 miles, never seen a leak even i took cover off for valve job twice.

 

just buy fel-pro and call it a day, reasonably priced and great quality.

Judging by the part number, it's an Evergreen gasket. Read reviews on the web a little before you buy.

On such a cheap part, either buy Honda, or check out rockauto.com and get a fel-pro or a Victor Reinz.
