does anyone know how to can I possibly wire up oem foglight kit for 99 accord v6 to a 99 accord 4 cylinder thanks please help !!

 

Foglights for sedan has Harness A and B. Coupe has an additional Harness C.

Foglight installation for sedan 4 and 6 cylinder are similar. Foglight installation for coupe 4 and 6 cylinder are similar.

Principal difference between respective 4 and 6 cylinder is probably wire harness routing in the engine compartment. Actual wire harness may be slightly different due to routing difference. 4 cylinder has the car battery on right front of engine compartment, 6 cylinder has the car battery on left front of engine compartment.

the issue is that i removed the complete kit from a 99 accord sedan v6. My car is also a 99 accord sedan but a 4 cylinder. Im trying to figure out how to wire it up to work on my accord.

by the looks of it .. the link you sent me shows that both cars use the same kit. Am i right. ?

The installation illustration of what is in the kit looks the same; however, sometimes they may just reuse an image; so, that is no assurance the harness is actually the same for 4 and 6 cylinders. The harnesses may actually be different due to the different routing to the car batteries. -- The only way to know for sure is if they list the harness part number or there was the actual harnesses to compare.

You can try to roughly lay the engine harness in the engine compartment and see if it may reach the various connection points.

 

The Honda circuit diagrams do not differentiate between 4 and 6 cylinders for the foglights; there are differences in the circuits for U.S.A. models vs. Canada models though.

It may or may not be just be different length wiring harnesses.
