New mods for my R and have some questions......
Ok this is the list of new stuff i will be getting soon for my R and i have a few questions about installing some of them...
Spoon Calipers
Endless Pads (which do you recommend for track and street?)
Spoon Rear Strut tower bar
Spoon Spark Plug Wires w/grounding strap
Spoon 421 header
Carsound Cat
Spoon Cam gears
Spoon SW388's 15"
SS Brake lines
Motul 600
Type One earthing system
Are there any good slotted rotors that would fit under my stock and spoon rims that dont rust?
what stuff can i do myself cause ive never really done any real work on a car other than installing my jdm valve cover and front upper tower bar. can most of this stuff be done by me? Im talking about brake calipers, ss lines and bleeding and stuff. will a helms manual help me do this stuff? also is it easy to put on a header and cat? ive never seen anyone do it or anything or should i have them put on by professionals at a local shop? just wanna try to save as much money as i can cause i wont have much left over after i buy this stuff. thanks guys

What you can do really depends on how capeable you are. I could install all that stuff myself, and I'm not a mechanic. I say go for it.

id get some we-todds to help you, but put on the flame suit if you want slotted rotors, along with some of the other parts you mentioned, which have better, less expensive alternatives as well
I am really capable of completing difficult tasks, as long as i have good instructions. Do you think a helms manual will help me in any way?
are slotted rotors bad?

A good number of those parts can be put on yourself without any risk of loss of vehicle safety (header, cat...etc) but if you are unsure about installing some parts like (brakes, lines...etc) I would get some of the H-T peeps with more experience to help you out. That way you can watch and learn, as well as participate without any greater risk to yourself.

i dont know about cams? maybe later..i have been hearing alot of bad stuff with cams and dont feel i need MORE power. yes it would be nice to have more power, but is not a huge priority right now.
Well then in that case, you mine as well get a SMSP header with a cat to fit with your stock exhuast (if thats what you have).
Also I am still undecided on which rims to get.......these are my options,
Gold ADVAN RG'S 16"
Spoon SW388's 15"
Bronze Volk CE28N's 16"
Bronze Mugen MF10's 16"
I dont know.....I kinda wanna stick with the spoon theme.
John - I will go pull out my hair now trying to decide!
