manual tranny swap = no top end power
1995 Honda accord automatic.. did manual transmission swap, now there is power loss in top end. This is my third swap, and every one ends up the same, no power at higher RPM's. Anyone know what is going on here?
I have already installed a computer from a manual transmission accord.

Yeah, if your using a B2 ECU and you have a B1 motor (VTEC) then there is no VTEC system control built in to the ECU, I had this same problem when swapping a F22B1 motor into a EG hatch but it was that I hadn't wired the VTEC properly (same sort of issue though-the VTEC system wasn't operating and it had no top end power). If it is a B1 VTEC motor, I would say to make sure that the VTEC system is operational but if it isn't you would usually have CEL codes.
yes it is a b22. No Vtec. stock engine. 1995 Honda accord. it does rev all the way to red line, constantly. just should have a lot more pull at 4000 rpm and up.
the computer I pulled out of a b22 standard transmission accord. No Vtech.
I am not sure, but is there a timing advance that could not be working?

It keeps revving to red line, just after 4000 rpm it should pick a bit, it's a constant rev.
How do I check '95 accord for CEL codes?
I am using a b22 MT computer

To check codes;
Behind/below glovebox door there are two blue connectors, pull down the two wire blue connector.
Jumper connector with a wire/paperclip.
Turn ignition to II(ON)
Watch CEL lamp for blinking.
Record codes(blinking) and report back.
FWIW an Accord manual transmission is not going to make the car any faster than an AT Accord transmission. If you were expecting some sort of increase in acceleration, the Accord MT is not the transmission to use.

With the wire jumped and the engine running the timing will not advance, so don't drive it like that, the car will be sluggish.
If no codes present and the CEL is not blinking then the system is working fine.
I'm not sure what you are expecting from the engine, if it revs to redline with linear power then it is fine.
These are F sereies engines, they do not rev to begesus and back like a H22 VTEC or B18C1. Transmission gearing is also not for performance acceleration.
