connected this wire to the starter with the other end touching the battery just to get power to the starter. the car started right up nd now i still trying to figure out how to fix the problem. looking to see if anybody might know a little bit about this.
I tested the ignition switch took the jumper wire i used before on the battery but this time i made it longer still connected to the solenoid to get to the ignition switch and touch the black and yellow wire and the car turned right on like nothing.

1) Unplug the clutch interlock switch highest on the clutch pedal. With the key held in ON(III), check whether the Blk/Wht wire in the connector has battery voltage. This is the switch that the rubber stopper I mentioned earlier presses on when the clutch pedal is depressed. Are you sure the stopper is there?
I literraly just had this problem on my hatch. After pushing it up hill into my garage, came online found this exact same answer, sure enough the rubber plug was broken off. Wish i would of checked instead of messing up my back trying to push the car
The high one is busted. That's your problem. Unhook the cable and jump it with some copper and try it. I literally just had the same problem not even an hour ago. I guess thats what happens when the car turns 22!
