I took the assembly off so i could change the seals underneath and now the left and right side of the assembly came off and i cant get the bolts to line up and go through the holes or the cam tower to line up. Its like the ends need to be pressed on. I tried to use a piece of wood and a hammer to force the ends back on but no luck the rockerarms have to much side to side play and will not center over the valves. Help please.

 

Best thing to do is go to the junkyard and take one apart and see how it goes.

 

Being "lower" seals I'll have to assume this is the non-vtec engine. Also if you go to a bone yard and pull one - why not just keep it "together" and install it on your car

There are a few "on line" manuals you can get that will show the proper order of the all of the springs/arms/washers/ect.

 

clean the parts really well until they look like new. these rocker assemblies go together relatively easily when all the varnish and build up have been removed. you may run the risk of mismatched cam cap journal sizing if you use another assembly. it can be checked and measured, but what you have now can be saved. post some pictures if you can.
