Default Honda keeps cutting out

I have a 91 Honda accord and it'll drive about 2 blocks there and back and then cut out or act like it wants to cut off until it finally does... Could it be the fuel filter cause this? I was told I need to change that. Or is it something else that could be causing it..

Possibly. Only real way to check would be to use a fuel pressure gauge and check the pressure at the rail. If low pressure it could be a faulty FPR, clogged filter, or gunk in the sock. It could also be the fuel tank is not properly venting. Next time the car bogs/dies, remove the fuel filler cap, if there is a lot of vacuum and the car starts, there is most likely a problem with your venting system.
