I'm rebuilding
whats up,
I had a couple quick questions....
I'm rebuilding my block and just want to know what are the Crank torque specs(bolting the crank to the block) and piston rod specs(2 screws on the bottom of the piston rods) that connect to the crank on a b16 pr3?
And what about replaceing my block bearing? Im going to replace the block seals but dont know about the bearing?
O yea and who makes good piston rings? i've been looking for some like crazy but cant find any for my b16 pr3 pistons?
forgot to ask about engine assembly lube, who makes good stuff for my block rebuild.......
P.S what auto manual i should go pick up for my b16? del-sol dohc vtec?

umm, if you're rebuilding you should have a reputable manual, and if you bought all the stuff it should come with a sheet that tells you the torque specs, and i believe, no sure though, honda bearing will do, so go get some of those at a dealership
i agree with what altoid said above....
get a good service manual, preferably a helms, for the rebuild. it will have all the torque specs along with instructions to help you on the rebuild.
the rod bolts are usually measured by how much they stretch and not by how much torque you put on them. you are supposed to use a bolt strech gauge, but my friend and i used a dial caliper for measure the strech of the bolt.
