4 cyl, Just stopped starting one day. Noticed recall for ignition switch... Got it.. installed it.. started 3 or 4 more times after that.. then all the sudden nothing. just cranks again...

Read about the faulty main relay problems.. took it out.. 2 of the connectors had the tell tail break in the solder... re-soldered both connectors..put it back in. Nothing still cranks.. no check engine.. all fuses look good.

Possible main relay is junk.. ? Is it my understanding I can put a test light to the black/yellow wire going in the fuel pump.. No power=bad relay? thanks for any info guys. Also if you have any idea's let me know.. car does have spark.

Check for actual fuel pressure.

 

You are using a Honda key right? Not a copied key.

 

Yes honda key, yes actual fuel pressure...Car was starting for awhile as soon as it got cold today it wouldn't start again.. ... So im guessing maybe the main relay is bad? Any other suggestions for me to check? It will warm up today and I know it will start around noon or so. So i can get it in a friends shop and poke around.. thanks again guys.

 

New info... Relay MUST be good. I could hear fuel pump when I was just trying to start it.. and literally i spent 3-5minutes cranking cuz I kept hearing a sputter.. then it started.. well kinda I had to hold the key wide open, till it started running on its own...Then it ran like doodoo.. sputtering..then finnally..runs normal, and now its outside idling... no check engine.. IM at a loss here, have fuel..spark..relay is good.. ignition wire is brand new...Help! Going to go on a ride see if I cant get a check engine to pop. Thanks again

*EDIT* got check engine light.. 2 codes. 2 long flashes then immediately 2 short.. then a pause.. and 9 quick flashes.. so im guessing 22, isnt that caused by either low oil and vtec cant engage or a dirty screen in solenoid... and code 9... the cyl pressure sensor in the dizzy... possible bad dizzy(icm)? hmmm..
