Icon2 1993 Civic dead silent

I have a 93 Honda Civic. I got a pinhole brake line leak a few inches away from reservoir. Fluid leaked onto alternator. It started up a few times just fine. I would start due to the freezing weather until I could do the line. Went to work on it and its dead. I'm assuming battery is dead but is it true brake fluid can short the alternator and battery? I was told try contact spray but two full reservoirs dumped onto it. Can that blow any major fuse too? The car has a nice strong start when it was starting? What should I do first?

Test the battery and alternator.
