1999 EM1 fuel pump wont prime
i have a problem my fuel pump wont prime, relay is working as it should, all fuses are fine, it started one day i was driving an ran out of fuel, since then its started once or twice since then but cuts out after a min, now i cant get it to start atal? ive tried a friends pump also and no go? any ideas? thanks in advance
where is fuse 44 located?? i ran a wire from battery straght to pump with a fuse and switch for temporary use, so that means the pump itself is fine? relay clicks as it should.. im baffled
You verified that the pump works by manually powering the pump, why replace it. Your issue could be a wiring from the fusebox or the mainrelay to the pump, or the main relay isn't receiving a signal from the ecu. Troubleshooting is the only way.
