Default Engine code 45 too rich/too lean

Need some help from anyone who's delt with this code.
I'm getting poor mileage, occasional idle drop to 400rpms, power delivery isn't smooth.

Last thing I want to do is throw parts at it.
Anyone recommend tests to run or what could be causing it?

Some other threads suggest a fpr, o2 sensors...
I believe the sensors are fairly new but could be faulty. An oem fpr used is only $20...

Help or suggestions welcome!

Start with checking the if theres any check engine codes.

Check your mech timing.

If your idle drops try cleaning the IACV with brake cleaner.

Check for codes first like mention above.

P0171 (45) is system too lean probable cause:
Fuel system
Primary HO2S (sensor 1)
Map sensor
Contaminated fuel
Valve clearance
Exhaust leakage

P0172 (45) is system too rich probable cause:
Fuel system
Primary HO2S (sensor 1)
Map sensor
Contaminated fuel
Valve clearance

Only difference from is exhaust leak.

Code has gone away but I'm going to adjust the valves regardless. Probably do more maintenance as well.

It was P0172 too rich.
Have it at Acura now and the fuel system is okay, same with O2 sensors.
Getting a valve adjustment next week. Will keep this thread updated so future ppl will have an idea.

How long (time wise) are timing belts good for?
Last replacement was 12 years ago but only 50,000 kms.

It's going to be one of 3 things; evap solenoid, valve clearance or fuel injectors.

Fuel injectors were checked, valve clearance hasn't been done. How do I check the evap solenoid?

With a vacuum pump, apply vacuum to the EVAP solenoid. If it doesn't hold vacuum replace it.
