I have a ek civic with a D16y7 engine & i want to do an engine swap to a B16A 2nd gen engine or anything i could find around a B16 engines. I need help in what i need, to do the engine swap. Idk if i need a new tranny, or new fuel injectors. i barely know stuff about the engine, i need help!

 

Search the faqs sticky. No you can't use your existing D16 tranny.

 

You need a new transmission, linkage, mount(s), and a whollota other parts, as well as some technical ability.

Thanks the honda gods for the honda tech search button...use it! I completed my very first swap into my eg...d15 to a gsr...auto to manual and all I did was use the search button over and over again. No matter what question you might have im sure someone has already asked it. GL with the swap

P.s. I had never done a swap before in my life. Takes a ton of patience.
