Default 93-96 bb1 Value?

Hey guys, I have been looking around for a 93-96 Prelude Vtec for a while now. Today I found one that is completely stock and unmolested with 175,xxx miles. Interior and exterior are at least 8/10 if not better. With Kbb and Nada not being any where close to correct, I was wondering what you all would value these cars at. I don't want to over pay

That's almost 300k kilometers, which is alot for any car. An original higher revving engine and that much mileage is cause for concern. Always ask for service records/history of the vehicle.

Also consider the age of the suspension, bushings, transmission and electrical components before buying a car that old. It will need a timing belt kit and possibly a water pump soon and who knows what else. Let that reflect in the price.

I wouldn't pay more than $2300.

He has all service records. water pump and timing belt were done at 120,000. suspension felt fine. 2300 seems awfully. Low

Id say its closer to $3k to $3.5K if its nice enough, although price varies pending on location and what they can prove has been replaced/cared for.

If interior is nice, and paint is good with no rust rolling shells are worth $1K-$1.5K alone.

If the engine runs, doesnt smoke, previous owner used premium fuel, and gears in trans dont grind, and no rust on body or fender wheel wells. Id say buy it, those are what to look for.

I paid $2,400 hundo for mine, came with a H22A4 with unknown miles. I also found a newer Ipod and like $30 bucks in change in the car lol. So I feel like I paid about $2,200 and he waned $3K to start.

He said it had a swapped engine, and I can see clear as day it says A4. But He had no paper work and I said he has no proof its not the original engine. That I can only take his word its swapped since he could not prove it to me. I also nit picked the **** out of the car lol... Id hate to sell a car to someone like me... But business is business and I got him down over $600 off of asking price.

He came down to 3,700 and I will probably get it pending my mechanics inspection. The guy agreed to drive it to my mechanic and have him look it over before I buy. The interior is 9.7/10 in my book, and the only thing with the exterior is slight paint fade on the sunroof. The car drove straight as an arrow, and seemed very mechanicly sound to me. If everything checks out with my mechanic, I will Buy it. It has like $800 worth of stereo equipment that will be coming with it, I will just sell that to make some cash back. btw It's 100% bone stock inside and out. Never been modded in any way from What I can tell.
