Just wondering...94 Honda Accord & 92 Honda Prelude
So I got my son a 94 Honda Accord and when I bought it we didn't know that the frame was beyond repair mostly. The previous owners hit a cow that was laying in the road, after being hit by a car ahead of them, and it pushed the driver side wheel, frame, and everything 5 1/2 inches back. My mechanic friend ordered some new parts and stretched it to capacity without breaking the frame completely. He only got it to move forward 3 1/2 inches, so thank goodness we live a really small town because my mechanic said that it's safe for our son to drive it around town (ONLY) and he won't be able to put a regular tire on the driver side...just a donut.
So......what I wanna know is...can a 94 Honda Accord engine, seats, clusters, or just anything basically....go into a 92 Honda Prelude? I heard/read that I can swap out the transmission, but don't know for sure. I know my Prelude motor can go into the Accord. Please help me!! Because I feel like I wasted money on the damn Accord and if ANYTHING can go from there to my Prelude then I won't feel that I've wasted my money. I really appreciate any help!

If the front beam(where the radius rod attaches) is pushed back or damaged it will affect the fore/aft location of the front wheel.
If the body of the car looks fine, the actual frame of the car is probably still acceptable to use.
It is pretty common for people to hit a curb hard enough to damage the front beam, front control arm, and knuckle. The upper control arm is pretty flimsy and will bend as well. Knuckle is maleable and will bend rather than break. If I were you I would verify the front suspension components are not damaged before chucking the car.
Pictures would be helpful.
92-96 Prelude is closely related to the 90-02 Accords, engine/transmission will swap across, front seats might but the Prelude has a smaller interior than the Accord so it may not be ideal. Rear suspension is completely different from Accord. The most similar(but still different) parts are the front suspension.
