anyone know if its ok to have a cut valve cover for adjustable cam gears? Will it pass the visual?
prob not cause they are going to ask why and when you tell them to adjust the cams that mess's with emissions but they might over look it but who know's I delt with them one time and they suck *** real bastards I say barrow one if you have to go to the reff if to a local shop dont worry
I doubt it will pass visual even if they are 0,0. Depends on the shop I guess. You can always just get a "tuning" valve cover that you have cut up and leave your normal cover uncut.
Wow, you Cali guys have it tough. How bout saying it's stock? Would that work? Here in NJ, inspection stations don't know anything.
Just borrow a vtec b-series valve cover that is already cut for your tuning and then put your uncut cover back on when you are done.
