so i just put a new clutch in my 1995 honda civic ex with a 1.6 vtec half way through surgery my exhaust broke (i kicked my breaker bar) at the catalytic converter and resinator, now the vehicle ran like a top before i performed the repair and now it starts really hard if at all and when i do get it running it runs rough and backfires, it has a hard time getting up to speed and wont barely rev above 4500-5000 please help

 

What code is the check engine light on for?

If its not on....you might have skipped a tooth or two on the timing belt when you turned the motor clockwise while doing the clutch.
