My 4th R #98-0635
As many of you probably know having an R doesn't suit many lifestyles, cities, and living conditions. Just moved provinces and found myself in a position to buy one again. Looked at a bunch but it is very hard to find an unmolested car with stock interior, minor mods, good paint, good past owners, and that was taken care of.
Owned 97-0166, 00-0914, and the other was 98-0629. Needs a bunch of minor work to freshen it back up again. Typical stuff like rear hatch actuator, rear tail light gaskets, new grounds, cleaning up some wiring and maintenance. After that just plan on doing some better suspension, and hardrace bushings. The oem shocks and comptech springs is a bad combo.
Only mods are aem cai, t1r 63mm cat back, short shifter, and the springs. Out of all the integra's I've owned (probably around 10), this has the nicest interior as well. Better pics coming later on.

When I went to get plates I found this jem waiting for me! Made my day!!!

Welcome back. I went with Hardrace bushings and they worked out well for everything but the LCA's. The rubber started seperating from the metal housing and I ended up going with Function 7 only because they had a spherical option.
The rest of the bushings are holding up well but you can never go wrong with fresh OEM bits. I also went with Kingpin lower compliance bushings.

She needed some work on a bunch of miscellaneous wiring it had all over, and the horn wasn't working.
Got rid of the old wiring, ground everything properly, got the horn working properly, and cleaned the aem cai filter.
Let me know if anyone has a mugen intake they'd like to sell for a reasonable amount.

Nice muffler keep it up!! Your r reminds me of mine when I bought it, mine had the same aem red CAI with bad homemade mounting hardware.
After all these years the aem is still on my r only now it's a short ram arm that connects to a stock air box with modified oem snorkel and v stack.
I must admit though the aem sounds awesome, especially at highway speeds. How bad is the vibration in yours? Because there was no rubber bushing to dampen the vibration the aem would get tiring from the constant vibration, even my shift rods would vibrate the shifter, it was awful but I haven't been in a car with an aem CAI mounted correctly, I'm going assuming yours is, if so, how do u like it?

The AEM is a pain to clean because of the filter placement. Also it is making some noise because of how it's mounted. I do have rubber bushings under the mounting point but the whole thing is solid and vibrates when the engine flexes.
Can't comment on the sound because my t1r exhaust drones it out on the hyway. I'm selling the t1r muffler if anyone wants it.
