Okay so lets get this started i have a pretty much fully stock 96 civic hb with some misfires so i did some checks and i have one fuel injector not pulsing so i hooked up a meter to the + and - of the connector and its the only one thats dead what could cause this?

 

So, does the injector clip get battery voltage and pulsing ground from the ECU?

 

Remove connector
Probe the wire that isnt ylw blk and probe the opposite end of the ecu harness for continuity

Check resistance across the injector

 

my resistance is good on the injectors my codes are p0304 p1399 p0303 and p1300 there is nothing on the injector for 3 its strait dead im sure ill do more checks in a few minutes

 

So i am back now i unplugged my battery and reset my car it seems to be firing off now so i am all good for now ill update if anything else goes wrong

 

So i was driving today and problem came back I'm pretty sure the ecu is shutting down fuel injector for cylender 3 what could the cause of this be a bad injector? Blown head gasket? A bad ecu? Distributer? Any kind of greed back would be great

 

Okay so an update figured out it was none of that i got a short wire going to my ecu were its at idk but if i wiggle the wire near the connector and a bit down itle short out soooo time to start doing some chopping and crimping
