Hello There,
I have a 2008 Honda Accord losing power after about 2 hours of drive in an ambient temperature circa 30 degree Celsius. The interesting bit is that whenever this happens, i only need to locate a convenient place to park and switch of the engine for about 2 minutes and the car becomes good to go again; albeit the problem still reoccurs the next day. Discounting this problem, the car moves well and smooth and no alarm of sort pops up on the dashboard. Has anyone had a similar problem? Please could someone share his or her experience?

 

Does this happen all of the time or just every now and then.

There are some things that will not set the MIL light but still store a code - most parts stores will check codes for free - so it can't hurt to at least check for them.

I know this sounds strange but check the air filter cover/top and be sure it is seated all the way.
