Ok so I picked up a 5 lug conversion and turns out its the jdm 36mm hub size. No big deal other then when it comes to axles. I have been searching Google and here trying to find a direct replacement off a usdm model Honda/acura. Only thing I have come up with beside changing outers is 97 prelude base axles are complete plug and play minus the removal of a plastic ring. All the threads are old and when information wasn't as well known like nowadays. I was wondering if any one here has the jdm front hubs on their R's and knows what axle will work or can confirm the prelude axle works. Like I said before everything was back and forth
Dude I had such a hard time trying to figure out what axles would for sure work on my 36mm 5 lug setup, but like you said, everything was back and forth. I luckily ended up finding a set of brand new ITR axles from someone local. I'm in for results on this though, since I'll probably snap mine sooner than later lol.

As soon as this weather gets warmer Ima try the 97 prelude base axles. But hopefully I can find out before hand. Also would like to know if the lengths are the same between the jdm/usdm itr
Really dude? This subject has been beaten to death.. You can probably find this info in a dozen places if you use the search tool. In fact there is an identical thread about 10 down from yours.. On the first page.. I'm surprised that admin hasn't deleted this thread already. Search first, then ask.

I completely agree. Although the current ones I got are from advance auto some gsp brand haven't given me any issues which is surprising lol. Just figure with my car being slammed it would be easier for me to go swap them out once the boots begin to rip or they start clicking.
