1999 Accord. Intake valve never seems to open.
I apologize in advance for my noobiness. While doing a valve cover change, I got a chunk of RTV stuck near the camshaft. So, to get it out, I took the cam cage off. After putting it back on, I decided to turn the engine by hand to make sure everything is lined up right.
The intake valve on the passenger side of each cylinder never seems to open. That is, the rocker arm on that side never impinges on the top of the valve stem. This is the same for every cylinder. All of the other valves seem to open and close just fine.
Am I missing something here?

Did you lock in the VTEC rockers? The f23 VTEC bqsically only opens one valve per cylinder when it is not locked into VTEC. The other valve just barely lifts off the seat to keep any fuel from acumulating behind the valve.
