Default OHIO ITR OWNERS: A few questions for you.

First of all, I wish I could have made it to the meet last week and asked these questions in person, but my dad being in the hospital kept me away. He is fine now.

I have been thinking of trading in my 2000 LS and getting something different. Basically I am tired of it and ready to get something else to tinker with. I really like the integra though, so maybe moving to a *better integra* is my best bet. I have been obsessed with high revs since I got my F4i.

1. How worried are you about theft? I live in Centerville, close to Cincinnati. I know there is a big problem in CA, MD, VA, etc. How big is the risk in our neck of the woods. I do not worry about my LS no matter where I take it.

2. Any of you have one for sale? First pick would be CW, then black. I DO NOT want a PY one. Just a personal thing.

3. Anyone want to give me a ride, or let me drive your ITR? I have found a few on auto trader, but I do not want to go start wasting people's time before I know if I actually want one enough to sell my car and get another loan I am sure we can think of something to make it worth your time. Free Hondata gasket maybe?

I can't think of anything else right now. Thanks for your responses, help.

Kyle

Thanks. How is the header working out? I haven't talked to anyone that got on that deal after they installed it. Where are you located, I see you have one of the CWs that I like.

Thanks for the offer, I think 4.5 hours may be a lil too far though. Unless you are going to invite me in for dinner and let me sleep on the couch.

I will be thru WV in December though. Maybe if I haven't made my mind up by then...

Dude, just go drive one you find in the autotrader. That way, you can drivie it and see how you like it compared to yours. If you don't like it, no big deal, right?

And in Akron, OH- let them steal my car- it's insured, and I'm not worried.

Yeah, colletti is a few minutes away. They have 2 in some Grand Am series. One of them is for rent if you have your racing liscence. Steve (owner) isn't the coolest guy though.

You wanna get together sometime this week?

Hidy Honda has the most annoyng commercials all the time around here. Anyways, Beavercreek is about 30 minutes way. I will be in the part of WV you have to pass thru to get to MD. Southern WV, I am not too sure any city names, it comes and goes pretty quick as the interstate speed limit is 70

98CivicEX -- I would go to the dealership, but there are no new Type Rs left. Not that I know of at least.

Cool, let me know what night (or day is good for you). I am not sure who you talked to, but that whoel shop is not too cool. There used to be a guy named greg who worked there, he was helping me with my engine build, but they pissed him off and he left. I went back in after he had left and no one wanted to give me the time of day.

I think one of the kids that works there is on this board. VinnieVTEK. Something like that.

Ferrel -- If I have made up my mind, I will stop by and show you my new toy Or maybe my old toy

VinnyVTEK is Steve's logon. And I used to live in Centerville, but still work in Dayton. You can drive my R, but it's probably not the best example, given the clutch is dying and the motor mounts are shot. Let me know, I can stop down that way some evening after work....

And my experiences with Steve and his shop have been more positive than the ones I hearing. While he's not the most dynamic guy, he certainly was very nice.

I think one of the kids that works there is on this board. VinnieVTEK.

Also, on theft. It's almost a non-issue in Dayton. Too many rednecks....most people don't even have a clue what the car is. Mine was parked outside for over a year and I never had any trouble parking in a shady part of Kettering (near the Wheel Source).

That is exactly what I was thinking about the theft. I would be more worried about the rice boys jacking the Type R stickers than someone actually taking the whole car. Thanks!

Someone broke into mine and stole my ash tray, ripped my rear view mirror off and threw it in the passenger seat, ripped off my center console badge(and dropped it), and stole a mugen badge. They also stole all of the emblems off of the car. At the time this happened there were cams, intake manifold, valve cover and a lot of other parts in the trunk-which the bastards looked in but didn't take anything.
I would take you for a ride, but mine is turbocharged now.

Hey thanks for the bump on my page... I hope you can find an ITR too. Whoever gets theirs first should let the other person test drive!! haha... well hit me up if anyone is really selling. I'm willing to drive out to get one.
