Default EM1 headliner

1999 SI coupe. the headliner is drooping down in the back. No, not the fabric, but the whole cardboard backing. It has popped the plastic clip out of the metal above. So I thought I would grab one out of a wrecking yard. They are all doing the same thing. Any repairs for this?? I did go look in the FAQ's, and did a search. All the answers are for the fabric separating. Any help is appreciated.

You could always be adventurous and find a decent junker liner and use it as a template for a fiberglass liner. It would also give you the opportunity to wrap it in whatever fits your taste.

Find a junker and make sure you take the clip that holds the back part of the liner up as well.
